AZA Membership Benefits for Commercial Members
AZA Commercial Membership is available for companies and consultants that provide products and services to zoos and aquariums. Commercial members have access to a variety of programs to enhance their ability to reach zoo/aquarium professionals.
Members also receive timely and critical information for achieving a better understanding of the needs, issues and trends of the zoo and aquarium field. Commercial members are encouraged to take full advantage of all the benefits AZA membership has to offer.

New Member Announcement
New AZA Commercial members are announced each month in Member Updates in CONNECT Magazine and INSIGHT, AZA’s member e-newsletter. Member Updates is a popular section and gets your company in front of 6,000 members.
AZA Membership Directory
Commercial members receive a listing in and a copy of the AZA Membership Directory (order form in PDF). Please note that to be included in the annual edition of the Membership Directory, you must be a member with full-year dues paid no later than the end of June.
Annual Conference and Mid-Year Meeting
Receive a discounted rate on exhibit fees and invitations to participate in all of the conference social events at the Annual Conference and Mid-Year Meeting. Commercial Members are also eligible to become speakers or present posters. Proposals must be submitted during the Call for Papers period and are considered for acceptance by peers and members. Individuals employed by nonmember vendors are not eligible attend conferences and meetings, or be eligible to unless the company is a member.

Commercial members may advertise in AZA's monthly magazine CONNECT which reaches over 5,500 AZA members each month
CONNECT Magazine
Commercial members receive a subscription to CONNECT, AZA’s monthly magazine that helps you stay in touch with your market and keep abreast of the issues facing the zoological and aquatic community.
Web Listings
Commercial members are listed on the AZA website and are spotlighted in the new online buyers guide, AZA Supplier Search.
Requests for Proposals
AZA periodically receives RFPs from AZA member institutions. RFPs are distributed to Commercial Members via e-mail alerts. Members may also view RFPs from the past year's archive. Learn more about the RFP distribution.
Mailing Labels
Commercial members may receive (upon request) one free set of one-time-use mailing labels per year for all AZA-accredited institutions as well as discounts on subsequent sets of labels (order form in PDF). The mailing list is available as either printed labels or Excel spreadsheet. To order a mailing list, contact Muri Dueppen, AZA Marketing Manager.
Access Members Only
Log in to access any members-only content. This includes many valuable resources to aid you as a member, including statistical information on the AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums.
Free and Discounted Admissions
Is there travel in your future? Don't forget to pack your membership card. Showing your membership card at many AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums will earn you discounted or free admission or even parking or gift shop discounts.
Job Listings
Commercial Members may post unlimited classified ads for job openings on AZA's Web site at no charge.
AZA Logo
Commercial Members may use the appropriate version of the AZA signature logo (requires member login) in marketing materials and company stationary.
