Animal Data Information Systems Committee

The Animal Data Information Systems Committee (ADISC) was created by the AZA Board to establish standards for aquarium and zoo animal data management and to develop a blueprint for an integrated and comprehensive animal information system.

AZA's ADISC is part of the Zoological Information Management System Project (ZIMS), a cooperative international effort to develop an information system for the management and care of animals in aquariums and zoos.
